Hi there, I’m Kelsey (she/her) and I am a Registered Social Worker here in Saskatoon. I received my Bachelor of Arts Sociology degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2014, where I focused my studies on child development. I received my Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Regina, in 2017, and am currently completing my Master of Social Work program through the University of Regina. I have additional training in mental health and crisis counselling, and integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy when working with clients. Operating from a trauma-informed approach, I primarily support children aged six and up, as well as parent and caregiver support sessions.
I have experience working with children using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), incorporating play-based approaches to support emotional regulation, behavior change, and coping skills. I pride myself in meeting each child where they are developmentally and emotionally, and tailoring interventions to their unique needs in a compassionate, engaging manner.
Areas of experience include supporting individuals managing anxiety and depression, neurodivergence, complex family dynamics, trauma and abuse, self-esteem and emotional regulation. I feel deeply privileged to walk along this journey with you, and provide support and encouragement through sessions.
